The kids LOVED the dancing water show. They look calm in this shoot, but believe be they were going crazy dancing! Second shot was a cool car at the same location that night.

New Haircut!

Usually undecided on black and white or color. I got the honor of taking a few clicks of Mr. J. He was done after about 5 minutes, so I am glad I got a one I liked. I can't believe he is almost five, and he is looking So much like my brother (Uncle Johnnie)!

Goodbye Summer. I feel like I missed it completly. BUT I guess I will get some warm weather for a couple more months anyway. I might actually get out the kiddie pool today. I am actually looking forward to Florida "winter" though lol. Is it starting to get cold where you live?

Goodbye Old Oak!

So I am a tree murderer! This tree was in out back yard yesterday and is now gone. I LOVE trees and did this one as well , but this one was taking over our yard. We could not grow grass in the back half and the roots were actually under the sidewalk on the other side of the fence. So we decided to cut her down, and I feel so guilty.

BUT, it is so nice to have this space back. I hope to make it look nice back there so we can actually go back there more offten! Inside our house is a cave, and now we even have more light in there.

The shade was nice, but didn't do any good since we didn't go back there.

My Big News!

So I have had the WORST summer (as some of you know) but even with all the bad stuff that happened, I did have some excitement. I have yet to tell my fellow bloogers, I am pregnant! Yep, that's right and this will make # 3 for me. After the shock of our surprise baby wore off and the all sickness, I am now very excited and a little nervous about having a 3rd child. The other exciting news is that the baby is a GIRL. She is due early February, which is my birth month as well.

I had to go straight to the store and buy something pink after the ultrasound. It was really weird though, I feel I don't belong on that side, too used to the boy side. I am sure it will all come with time.

Are you a Goober?

Well this is a start I guess. I was fasinated with the star shape at the top of the goober peanut butter/jelly. Jack was excited when I bought this today!

Need some encouragment!

I am going through a REALLY hard time right now, and my photography has been put on the back burner. I even got a new camera (30D) and lens (T-17-50mm 2.8) and have barley touched them. I never realized how much emotions play in the creative process. I am sure it can go either way, but for me I feel I have lost my creative edge for now, and want it back!

These two kids belong to one of my best friends in the world, after all we have known each other since we were babies. I don't get to her or her family to offten as we live in different states now, but I love watching her kids grow through the years. They are some of the sweetest, well behaved kids I know. These are from my trip to MN this summer, just getting around to looking.

Day 137

I am busy today getting ready for my friends wedding this weekend, packing the kids for grandma/pa's, so just one today! I got myself some mother's day flower last week (Jack's choice) they wont last much longer though! I certinally don't have a green thumb either!

Day 136- Don't try this at home!

So I was in the car and trying to think of what my picture of the day should be and was not coming up with anything. I pulled up behind this moving truck at a stop light and without thinking snapped a picture of the back of the truck. Then I happen to be on the side of the truck at the next light and rolled my window down and asked if I could take a picture of him and he said yes, and all the guys got a giant smile and thought it was cool. The last shot was dificult becasue I had my 85 on and I was darn close to the mirror, and also driving (hence the title). Maybe not to interesting but thought I would try a little blink photography!

OMG, I can't believe I posted this!

So I went out with some girlfriends for a moms night out and put a dress on. I rarely wear dresses but wanted to that day, so I had my dear sweet husband Jim take a picture. I have very little pictures of myself, but was ok with this one LOL!

So J likes to read the "news" on Sundays now. He gets very serious when reading the comics lol. Added the purple at his request, his favorite color.

I hope all the mom's had a great mother's day. My boys gave me a nice card and we went out to my favorite mexican place for dinner! These are from last night, it was a Shrek night.

Suddenly by Soraya! I heard this in the mall today while I was hanging out with Jack. I was instantly reminded of my husband. I have actually thought about this song for a while now, but could never remember who sang it or even the words for that matter. This song was popular in 1996 when I fell madly in love. I remember listening to this over and over cause it reminded me of my man when we were states away. It certainly is appropriate right now in our stressful times! Jim if you are reading this I love you!

Yes little one spent most of the day in his diaper, not sure I remember why lol. This little green frog has hung out on the window for over a week now, but I think we scared him off!
