Having some fun in the backyard finally!

Day 22

My husbad was out of town for what seem to be FOREVER (about 5 days) but me and the boys survived and had a great time. Last night we went out for my last night as a single mom. I have never taken both boys alone to a resturant that didn't ask you if you wanted to super size. I thought Jack would enjoy pancakes for dinner and it seemed like it was an easy place to take them, so off to IHOP we went! Alex enjoyed the fruit.

Day 19, 20 and 21

So I am a few days late posting them, but I am still taking pictures, just been busy. These are out of order, #1 is on day 20. My older son had a birthday party to go to for a classmate and little brother had to tag along since my husband is out of town. Has you can see he had a blast! Day 19, I was out of gas and just made it home. Was late to the party the next day cause I HAD to fill up lol. Dat 21, more fun in the bath tub!

Day 14, another eye test!

Out of a whopping four pictures he let me take yesterday (and I say "let" very lightly) this is what I got. What you are seeing is the .000001 second he looked. HOW do does one get focus it such a short amount of time? I am also having such trouble with my tamron lens. Anyway, for all my fellow 365'ers out there, I thank you for all the coments on my blog, and I try my best to get around to posting on yours, although I can't seem to leave coments on typepad blogs?

Day 13-First Haircut

My little guy got his first haircut (sniff sniff) and this was the very first time my older son did not shake the house with his screaming, he was such a sweet and polite kid. I am so proud of both of them!

Little life Lessons!

Anyone who knows me, knows I like to take real life pictures. This is my attempt at PJ style in my own home. I collected all the kids books in our house and wanted to go through them and sort though the ones we want to keep. Well, all that happens is I trasnport them from room to room and never actually do it. I had placed them on the couch and this is what Jack decided to do instead!

Day 9

I went to bed at 7pm last night, I am guessing staying up late night after night is really catching up with me big time. Anyway, I need to get caught up. I took this at bath time (just before I fell asleep). I suck at the bath picture, anyway here is one that was SUPER grainy and I left it as is for that artsy film feeling, just converted bw and cropped. I actually like it now!

Day 8

Color! My older son painting and loving it! I love the angle and very pleased with the color! I was also on the phone while I took this one! I am having so fun with this project, and LOVE visiting all of the other blogs, and of course love reading the comets i get as well!

Late Night Party!

2:30am my little guy Alex (17 months) decieded it was party time. I was still up so I decided to go get him and bring him some water. Well just before I went in i grabbed my camera and flash. What did I learn? Well I can not take pictures in complete darkness LOL! I am not kidding when i say complete darkness, impossible to focus, needless to say here are my party pictures including a rare photo I took of myself!

January 7th-A is for Apple!

Actually did one during the day, instead of waiting until the last minute! Here is my A for the abc book. Taken on my kitchen table with natural light!

January 6th

A picture of a picture! I have yet to hang many pictures on my own walls, how silly is that. But this week I finally got around to hanging a picture up. It is a 5x7 of a bee I took many many months ago, but I love it. I used my flash (bounced off the celing) and a wide angle lens. If you look close enough you can see the reflection of a paper christmas tree hangin on the wall, with a yellow star on top that my son made in preschool. The tree is now off the wall lol.

January 5th

Adding this top one a little late. This was taken at the same time as the bottom soup picture!
Killing two birds with one stone (btw, would never really hurt a bird). I finally started making my kids abc book I have beem meaning to do for ages. Jack wanted soup for lunch, so S it was!I will also count this as my photo for today!

Toddler Toes

I will be starting a new project, taking a picture a day for 2007. Here is my first one from the first day of the new year.

Here is Alex sleeping last night. I hardly ever get to see him sleeping, let alone take pictures of him sleeping. He did not have a real nap yesterday, so he was tired at bed time!

Family Photo

Jack needed a family photo for his class, so we took one yesterday at the park! We only have one other family pictures with all of us together and that was not a pleasent one LOL!

I got to play with Tyler today at the park, and the Florida sun was HOT!!! We played on the slides (his favorite) and later he
enjoyed the splash pad! He did not stop moving once, lets just say we were both sweating LOL!

It's been so long, I must update!

I have been busy with my two young men, it's hard to keep up with this blog! Last week I met my mom in Clearwater Florida for the night and this is what we saw. A gorgous sunset! It was a beautiful night to walk along the shore (kid free)!



















I have been busy learning as much as I can and of course taking lots of pictures. I am currently in an online mentorship program taught by Sheri Visakaly, an accomplished photography out of Ontario! There are a few other photographers with me. It has been a great opportunity and I am loving it.
